Warzone
A 4v4 team game on Nomad Arcade. Red against blue across a chain of floating islands, three modes in rotation, and bots in every empty slot, so a game starts the moment one player queues.

Join the server, right-click the game controller you are handed on arrival and choose
Warzone. The same menu spectates a game in progress or returns you to the city. If the
controller is lost, /arcade menu opens it again.
The arena
Warzone has its own arena beside the city. Each team starts on a base island, at opposite ends of a chain of floating islands with open air between them. Every block in the arena can be broken, and the whole map is laid down again between games.
Your kit
Everyone spawns with the same kit, and gets it back on every respawn:
- A sword, and a shield in the off hand.
- A shortbow and 32 arrows.
- 32 bricks in your team's colour, for bridging gaps and building cover.
- A pickaxe, for taking the other team's work apart.
- 8 bread.
- A helm and tunic in your team's colour. They mark your side and add no protection.
The three modes
One game each, in this order, then round again. Every game runs for at most fifteen minutes.
- Destroy the Core. Each core sits inside a force field fed by two laser towers on the side islands. Break both emitters to drop the field, then break the exposed core before the enemy repairs it. The core takes ten hits, and the damage wears off two seconds after the last one, so keep hitting. If neither core falls, score decides the game.
- Domination. Five capture rings, one per island between the bases. Stand in a ring to take it: one player claims a neutral ring in about ten seconds, and up to three teammates in the ring make it faster. A held ring scores every second. The first team to 1,500 wins.
- Team Deathmatch. Two lives each, plus a shared pool of four for the team. Eliminate the other side, or lead on kills when the clock runs out. Teams are locked once the game starts.
Dying and respawning
Dying puts you in spectator for a five-second countdown, then you respawn at your base. Deaths drop nothing and cost no durability. When a game ends everyone watches the reset from above, and the next game, in the next mode, starts thirty seconds later.
The bots
Teams are four a side. Any slot without a player is filled by a bot that plays the game for real: fighting, bridging gaps with bricks and capturing rings in Domination. A joining player takes a bot's place.
- A bot waits a beat after it sees you before it locks on with a bow.
- If walking back to base would take longer than dying and respawning, a bot steps off the island on purpose. It is the fast way home.
- If you disconnect or go to spectator mid-game, a bot takes your spot and your health, so your team never drops a player.
- In Domination, two bots commit to holding each ring, and the team sends reinforcements when one is threatened.
